One of my favorite local spots. This place is such a hidden gem. I always start with the truffle fries which are addicting. I finish with the hot n crunchy chicken with a side of tomato basil (the soup is to die for). Their food is fresh/ good quality meat, service is always top notch and it’s never overly crowded. After eating I usually make my way to their shop next door which offers a variety of unique gifts! Highly recommend checking this place out.
Cafe Barron's has a consistently excellent menu including their one of a kind Hot and Crunchy Chicken which is the special on Fridays. The atmosphere is great for a date or good friends having lunch. They have expanded the restaurant and it now has a bar with seating. I had the Wonton strip salad with Grilled Chicken and an amazing honey-soy sauce dressing, and a cup of Seafood chowder. I was too full to finish it all. I've only had one poor experience here in the last 5 years and it was handled with excellence. I definitely will continue to dine here in the future.
In town from San Antonio visiting family. Barron's has always been a solid choice for good food and atmosphere literally for decades. My first time in this newer set-up and it was great: excellent service, terrific food, clean restaurant and bathrooms, etc. A very good experience for our party of 6. Keep it up, Team Barron's!
We went for a company Christmas dinner party. They had a separate room all lined up for us and didn't mind when we moved the tables around. The staff were so sweet and the food was delicious. I am so pleased, definitely coming back in the future.
Really neat place to go for lunch or dinner. Closed on Sunday and Monday but open 11 AM–2:30 PM, 5-9 PM. We have dined here many times for lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. This trip was the crab cake sandwich, mushroom tostini, and parm truffle fries. All really great. Very nice atmosphere, and service was great. They have a bar you can sit at as well, and drinks are wonderful. I did not get a drink this time, but past visits have been awesome. They do get busy at times, especially Friday and Saturday night. They are ticked away in the corner of a strip mall but a great find. Google Cafe Barron's and you will be on your way.
I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and we finally went with a couple of friends. I've been missing out! The food was outstanding. I had the blackberry pork tenderloin, and it was delicious. I'd definitely order in again. We had key lime cheesecake for dessert. So good! Our waiter, Ari, was top notch. He didn't interrupt our conversation but was always nearby when we needed him. He also took the ladoes' order first and served us first, and that did not go unnoticed. I really appreciate that. We will be back!
I've been here before. It's a good spot, but I've been turned away on Saturday nights when I show up at their bar for a drink at 9pm. I understand that the kitchen closes, but the bar should stay open. I got the pork tenderloin with potatoes and asparagus this day. It was good, but the portions were small.
